Once again, I've gone mainstream

You know when you look in your closet and it's full of clothes and yet you have NOTHING to wear? That's how I felt looking at all my polishes today.  Apathetic. Trust me, I have many polishes and many colors I haven't even tried yet. But still I had trouble figuring out what I wanted to wear today.

I know I just did blue recently (yes I try to give you variety), but Deborah Lippmann I Know What Boys Like was one I just got in the mail and I really wanted to try it. This color may be a dupe for American Apparel Mount Royal and is a darker shade of Essie Smooth Sailing. I am working on another dupe day, specifically requested by Polish and Charms, so this will be one I compare then.

This color is another one my camera is ruining. What is it with cameras and purple? I call this color a true periwinkle. It is a pretty mix of blue and purple. I did not like the formula at all.  It was runny, left bald patches and the pigmentation was lacking. But I kind of like the color. It's available now in DL's summer collection. Once again, I go mainstream and in season. Damn it's starting to be a problem.

You can almost see me taking the picture in the first picture. It's so shiny! Freaky!

I should have my fall colors to show you this week and I'm ordering more on Friday. Oh how I love the fall season and fall colors. In the meantime, I fancied up this color with Bundle Monster plate BM 214 and Essie Loophole which is a silver shimmer polish.

Believe me, this color has more purple in it than my camera is showing.  I like the design though.  What do you guys think?

Plus, it's almost lined up! Maybe practice does make perfect after all eh?
